FATIMA SIGNIFIES THE DOWNFALL OF ALL FALSE GODS!!
Praise be to Jesus Christ.
Let us all say to Jesus: Thank you for having given us your own Blessed Mother!
Today is truly a day for giving thanks.
I want to offer our thanks to you, dear Mother of Jesus, for your apparitions here in Fatima.
Today is the last day of my journey, which started last month on 7 September, and which took me to many places to pray the Cenacle for the Marian Movement of Priests. I have been to Switzerland, all over Germany and France as well as to Spain and Portugal. But it has been all of four years since the last time that I was here. During the last four years, in fact, I have been to America, around Europe, to Africa and to Asia and I have been able to witness, most Holy Mother, Your loving and maternal intervention.
I feel that I have been able to look deep into your secret, to understand the mission that the Most Holy Trinity has entrusted to your care, Dearest Mother of Fatima and Lady clothed in the Sun.
Your mission is to fight and to overcome the Dragon which has seduced mankind with his great pride, but You will overpower him with your great Humility! Therefore, while he has formed his ranks with the strongest, You have formed your army with the smallest. You have filled your own ranks not with the strongest, but with the weakest, not with the richest, but with the poorest, not with the greatest, but with the smallest.....with your own children, and in every part of the world.
And why? In order to combat and overcome the Dragon. And how is that going to happen? The victory of the Dragon consists in having brought humanity far away from God and in having set up idols for all to adore in place of God. Your mission now, oh Lady of Fatima, is to bring about the downfall of these false gods, and to destroy them completely!
Fatima IS the downfall of false gods!
Pope Benedict XVI, in the meditation given on 11
th October this year during the special Assembly for the Middle Eastern Synod of Bishops, said that there are three idols nowadays that must be overcome.
First idol: MONEY
The Pope referred to anonymous capitals that keep people in a state of slavery and thereby end up destroying them.
Second idol: PRIDE
With the spread of many false ideologies, pride is continually destroying truth.
Third idol: IMPURITY
Drugs and lust are exerting their seductive powers throughout all the nations of the earth.
Through the message of Fatima these idols MUST fall!
Our Lady of Fatima has been given this specific task: to destroy these false gods and bring all her children to love, serve, honour and glorify the One True God: the Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. She wants to bring everyone to adore and glorify the Only Son of God, who became flesh in her virginal womb by work of the Holy Spirit: Jesus Christ who died on the Cross for our salvation. Jesus Crucified, who is the only Saviour and the only Redeemer. No other one exists! Even for this perverse generation, Jesus Christ is the only source of salvation! He is risen, because He is God!
Our Lady of Fatima has been entrusted with the task of destroying these false gods: money, false ideologies, impurity. And on the way to destroying these false idols, She wants to take us all towards the adoration of the One True God, Jesus Christ, true Man and true God, our Redeemer, who has pointed out the way to salvation in the fight against sin, and is asking us to live according to the commandments of God and the practice of the Christian virtues, to walk along the road of holiness, of light and of the full glorification of God.
Thank you, Madonna of Fatima. May these false gods continue to crumble ever more under your holy work. May you continue to free humanity from this slavery and bring it to a deep devotion to the One True God, so that Your Son, Jesus may today be loved, served and glorified by one and all!
The Dragon has even set up false idols in the Church in order to destroy her from within.

Division caused by opposition to the Pope.: in the form of Rationalism and Relativism, which are destroying the faith in the Church. In the second letter of S. Peter, it is written: There will be false teachers among you, who will teach disastrous heresies and they will set themselves against their God, the God who saved them. Many will follow them and will, like them, live an immoral life. Through their fault, the Christian faith will be despised (2 Pt 2,1-2). This is why the loss of faith is widespread throughout the Church today; it is due to these false teachers who are transmitting falsehood and error. How can we then discern the good from the bad? If the teachers are conveying the truth of the Catholic faith, if they are humble and obedient to the Magisterium, they are good teachers. But if they are proud and they are spreading errors and are not obedient to the Magisterium, then they are false teachers! And right now we must be in a position to be able to discern between them: to follow the good teachers in order to remain in the faith and not to listen to the false teachers so that we can avoid falling into error and losing our faith.
Oh Mother of God, how wounded is your Church today as a result of all this false teaching! We beg You to obtain for them the gift of Divine Wisdom! You who are the Seat of Wisdom, blind them with the splendour of the Divine Truth so that they will in all humbleness return to believing and teaching the true faith! We know that You are indeed strengthening the faith in the Church today, while it is still being continually wounded by profound lack of faith everywhere.
Here in Fatima, Jacinta had a vision: she saw the Holy Father on his knees, weeping, while outside they were throwing stones at him. These stones are all the criticism, disputes, antagonism, dissension and opposition that are being thrown at the Pope from within the Church.
I therefore beg you, Holy Mother, to destroy this idol which is so profoundly false and so dangerous.
Here before You, on my knees I turn to my dearest brother Bishops and beg them not to trample over the Blood of Jesus! I beg you to remain ever more faithful to His Holiness the Pope!
And to you, my faithful brothers and sisters, I beg you to stay ever more united to your Priests; do not abandon them but help them constantly, and always be united with your Bishops and with the Pope!
In this way the unity of the Church will flourish again; it will be renewed, sanctified, illuminated by Your Holy and Immaculate Heart, oh Mother of the Church!
Here in Fatima, right back in 1972, You called me to this work and You entrusted me with the task of going everywhere to invite all Priests to consecrate themselves to your Immaculate Heart. In the course of all these years, I committed myself to this particular mission of yours, and boarded 1500 flights and made many other trips by car and by train. I visited all five continents various times in order to encourage my brother Priests to consecrate themselves to your Immaculate Heart. Most of them are already in Paradise and many others are still on this earth. But this year, an extraordinary thing occurred: before You, here in Cova da Iria on 12
th May, the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI consecrated all the Priests of the world to your Immaculate Heart. With this Consecration therefore, it would appear that my task may be finished and my journey over....at least, perhaps, a part of it, the journey to bring them to embracing the Consecration.
Now, however, it is time to begin a new itinerary, one that is even more important: the road to
living the Consecration!
When we live the Consecration, our life becomes transformed by your maternal love and we, ourselves, become a reflection of your own love so that it can thereby spread more and more to all parts of the world. We become illuminated, sanctified, and transformed by Love, because, put simply, the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is none other than the Immaculate Triumph of the Heart!!....that is, the immaculate triumph of Love! Now I can understand why the triumph of your Immaculate Heart necessarily coincides with the triumph of the Merciful Love of Jesus...because with the triumph of Merciful Love, the Divine Mercy, like dew comes to revitalize the aridity of all mankind, to renew it in love, from Love, and in this way a new civilization will begin and it will be a civilization of love!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, help us to live the Consecration! Help us to be luminous rays of your light-filled motherly love!
Oh! Madonna of Fatima, we look to You oh Woman clothed in the Sun, to be able to look heavenwards with You and so to understand that the great day of the Lord is near at hand and that we must prepare ourselves for the return of Jesus in His Glory, the radiant Sun of Justice who will renew the heavens and the earth.
And You, oh Lady of Fatima, are the great anticipation for these new times!
Dearest Lady of Fatima, I must now leave. I know not if and when I may return. However, although I may be far away, my life is always here!...because You have taken and transformed my whole life, and therefore, in the same nostalgic way that hundreds of thousands of other pilgrims leave you, I too on parting can say:
"Adeus! Fatima, adeus!"
"Fatima, adeus"
, but I will always be with you. The last adeus will be uttered in the last instant of my life because right up until that very last moment You, oh Lady of Fatima, are my Love, my Life, my Help, my Comfort, my Hope and above all, You are my Joy!

The Year for Priests which we have celebrated on the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the death of the holy Curè of Ars, the model of priestly ministry in our world, is now coming to an end. We have let the Curé of Ars guide us to a renewed appreciation of the grandeur and beauty of the priestly ministry.

FR GOBBI’S FIRST MEDITATION: OUR LADY’S RESPONSE TO THE CRISIS IN THE PRIESTHOOD
Welcome all to this cenacle in which Our Lady has a special design for this International cenacle. We are living moments of great crisis in the Church above all in the Priesthood. The Holy Father has just concluded the year of the priest, what can be the reason that Our Lady brought forward in her movement in the Church. And what is our role of the MMP during this time of crisis?
