"Always be prepared to make a defence to any one who calls you to account for the
hope that is in you".
This is the exhortation that I address to you young people at the beginning of the present year.
1985 has been proclaimed by the United Nations Organization International Youth Year, and this is of great significance, first of all for yourselves, and also for people of all ages-individuals, communities and the whole of society.
