PERPETUAL ADORATION – "THE HOUR OF POWER"

The clear, specific and unmistakable way in which Christ has consistently and repeatedly pleaded with humanity to adore Him, it is through the appreciation of the gift of His total presence among us in the Blessed Sacrament. ...

Ave Maria

The words of Our Lady at Fatima continue to resound in the hearts of her children up to the present moment. The world, it seems, has fallen even deeper into the grips of Satan with the all out attack against the sanctity and dignity of human life as well as the natural law by which God has ordained every human heart to obey. .....

THE TIME OF THE CENACLE.

The theme of World Youth Day 08 was "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses" Acts1:8.   After Jesus made this promise to the disciples they entered the Cenacle to join with the Blessed Mother in continuous prayer, awaiting the coming of the Holy Spirit.

Last June I, together with Fr Brian Ahearn from Dongara and Fr Donal McIlraith from the Fiji Islands, were blessed to attend the Annual Spiritual Exercises of the MMP at Collevalenza in Italy.  We together with Chris Hohnen from Sydney, were representing Oceania. However, in all there were three hundred and five priests from all around the world and eleven bishops, including three from the Maronite Church in Lebanon.

SHE  CAME  TO  OUR  AID

India can be awfully dry for many months, and one of the driest places is North Arcot, where I was entrusted with the charge of two mission stations.  And the driest month is May, elsewhere called the ‘Month of Our Lady because it is the month of flowers.’

What Great Things God has Done for Us!

None of us has asked to be born at this time in history.  Our living in this world at the present moment in time is wholly by the design and providential plan of God.  Everything is God’s outpouring for us, for whatever he enables us to do.  Nothing comes of ourselves!

Fr Hugh Thomas C.SSR writes:  Last week 23 priests attended a day of prayer which focused on "living the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary".  Archbishop Hickey showed his support by joining us for lunch, a delicious one supplied by Mrs Sioe Hadinoto and the ladies of the MMP.

Fr E McGrath writes:   As I read and reflected upon Our Lady, it came to me very strongly that I should see Her very much as a gift - God the Father‟s gift to you and me. Mary is, in fact, God‟s greatest gift to us, after His own beloved Son.
